Healthy Homemade Snickers Date Bars

- 20 Medjool Dates pitted and soft
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter or other nut butter
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or any nut works
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- pinch flaky salt or any salt
Slice dates open long wise, and remove the pits (if not already pitted)
Smash dates with bottom of glass or mallet onto lined baking pan
Drizzle peanut butter all over dates
Use double boiler or glass bowl over boiling pot of water to slowly melt chocolate chips
Add coconut oil to melted chocolate and combine
Pour melted chocolate on top of the date and peanut mixture
Sprinkle with salt and nuts
Freeze for 35 minutes, until the chocolate is set
Cut into bars and serve
